| Wird benötigt für Hyper-Threading (zwei Chips in einem Prozessor, nachzulesen im link unten) z.B. im neuen Pentium 4 Prozessor, ist vieleicht nicht gefährlich, aber nur sinnvoll wenn man so einen Prozessor besitzt. | I agree with Mirek's assessment of nuisance factor. Search your mainboard's AGP driver installer folders for "HTpatch*" There may be a "HTuninst.exe" file in the same folder. Run the HTuninst.exe to cleanly uninstall HTpatch.exe references from the windows registry. C:\windows\htpatch.exe file will not be deleted but that is harmless to leave around. | file is not detected as an infection by almost all antivirus softwares. BUT by purging the file from many systems helps me terminate many issues like slow systems. also i noticed that many systems infected by a spyware are containing the htpatch.exe file. One of the system i fixed was fixed by renaming a copy of any txt file by htpatch.exe right after deleting the real .exe file. the spyware just stop regenarating after that manipulation of the htpatch.exe file. steve c. | |
