Safe but it's given me false positives claiming I had system/keystroke monitors-if you use it double check before deleting anything-Quarantine first and don't panic-for ad/spyware it's good but for keystroke monitoring programs it 's more than likely a false positive dvdst711

Part of WebRoot Spy Sweeter Suite. Utilizes CPU at nearly 100 % quite often. Hogs my disk access also. Not sure if this was happening before or not
SpySweeper.exe 99 or 100 (High CPU Usage) - SOLVED. The "IE Favorties" shield was selected and I had too many entries in the "Favorites" folder. I created a new folder outside of the "Favorites" folder, moved the entries there. I then placed a shortcut to it back in the "Favorites" folder. This substantially cut down of the amount of time SpySweeper.exe was using the CPU when the computer was booting. |
