The ThinkPad Hotkey Manager is a process that looks for and interprets the special ""FN"" function key commands on ThinkPad laptops from Lenovo (formerly IBM). These keys implement many of the essential extra functions that are needed on notebooks, such as raising or lowering screen brightness, enabling external video output and so forth.
