I would think it is legitimate. (have HP/WinXP comp) for hp multimedia card reader sk1 if you don't let it run the card reader won't work I have this card reader built into my notebook PC and the shwicon2k crashes often Skry It's used for the Alcor UB-6000 7-in-1 card reader and is the driver for Win98 and Win2k OS's.
