Sassafrass Remind_XP.exe is a process belonging to the SoftThinks CD Creator CD/DVD Writer amd serves as a reminder to register for full product support. This is a non-essential process. Disabling or enabling this is down to user preference Note: Remind_XP.exe is also a process which is registered as a Trojan.Win32.FTP. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer, stealing passwords and personal data. It is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately

Tom Dworzak Remind_XP.exe is installed on my new Compaq Presario and launches as "Compaq Recovery CD/DVD Creator v. 6.0D2.61 (c) 200-2004 SoftThinks. I created the recovery discs however the Application Error messeges still appear at launch. I'm calling HP to find out if the discs were created properly and the application should have self-terminated.
josh could be dangerous not necessary or very helpful so why take a risk delete it
