All comments about rchook.dll: Brayn Boytano it's a dll from the recovery manager that comes with vcom's powerdesk and systemsuit (successor of ontracks systemsuit) and is part of the recovery manager. after i uninstalled the whole stuff i found files of the recovery manager in my systems tempfiles. this dll was still active and i wasn't able to close it down, since it isn't registered under that name in the taskmanager. i suppose it ain't malware, but was just put together by an incompetent programmer. so keep an eye out if you remove it, it might still be active.
