 mcb24126 | I've never used Kaspersky AVS. Did recently have a bad bout with a virus and a bunce of adware and spyware, and this program seems to be left over from that. Ulitmate Troubleshooter says its loaded from irrmrm.exe, which is in Winnt/System32. No matter how many times I delete irrmrm, or how, it regenerates. It's doing something I can't stop, which tells me it could be dangerous, but I can't be sure. |

| MSL | It will not allow me to end its process, which is needed for the uninstillation of the program--i have a new AV program, and want to "uninstall" this one now but it will not allow me to do so. The thing is: I'm not sure as to whether or not I have ever Installed it (with my own consent). It comes with System Mech. 5 pro., which porgram I DID install, but was unable to activate Kaspersky AV (or the Kaspersky firewall porgram). Either way, it somehow became installed on my computer and now I want it off of it and cannot do so. |

| Doyle | This is definitly NOT a virus/trojan. It is part of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus database and it is one of the best anti-viruses avialable on the market, detects trojans, keyloggers, sub7 trojans and many many others. For the guy that said a Microsoft program detected it as a virus, the Microsoft program probably detected a file with a virus that is in the quarentine section of Kaspersky which contains virus files isolated from other files but not deleted in Kaspersky. This is the best AV and much better then any Microsoft product. |

| Nqchos | Kaspersky is the man who created the heuristic scan and all other anti-virus software are using his technology. If your computer become unusable, it's because you may still had another anti-virus software installed at the same time. Kaspersky Anti-virus and the firewall Anti-Hacker from the same company are the best. I highly recommend it, but remove your old software first of all. |

| Ahmad Mohammad | I finally removed this mess by renaming the kavsvc.exe file in the "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal" folder, then uninstalling it and restart, LIFE IS MUCH BETTER NOW. |
