All comments about IntelMEM.exe: This came with my computer, I think it just watches the modem in case anything happens.   Daz Intel Modem Event Monitor provides certain features for your modem, such as detecting when the phone line is in use and you are trying to use the modem.  See also: Link   aVoyeur it blocks the modem from dialing   Paul present in the list of process in task manager in the computer that is only made by dell.   Only Microsoft knows, ET used it to call home!   Andy This program controls modems with INTEL chips.
