All comments about iertutil.dll: yes. install ie7 frm microsoft.com, then reboot ur system. if the seup can't complete reinstall your Operating system.   zax's If it is removed you will not be able to start Explorer.exe   Niklas Aldén If it is removed, it will cause your system to not work. You can not pull up the start menu. Everything has to be done through task manager and you cannot do a restore. The only reason I noticed this is because SnoopFree caught it. This update tried to install Internet Explorer 8 on my computer ( i assume becasue i had removed it and installed IE7 a month ago) and when the computer restarted i had no desktop GUI. I could only run from my XP OS's task manager 's run command. I can get online becasue i have fire fox as a second browser.
