The file taskman.exe could not be deleted: it created a copy of itself in windows and system32 folders. The only way I could take rid of it it was starting safe mode, deleting all copies of taskman.exe and removing all suspicious start up programs in msconfig. After that, the PC finally worked fine without traces of the taskman.exe file. Blue Zero yeah, while runnign it i noticed that if you scroll through the list using the direction keys, its cpu consumption will keep going up untill it maxes. yeah... that can be bad. The cpu load is caused by the constant updating it does as you pass each process. Since you technically, well actualy you do select every one you go by, and it loads info about that process every time you scroll by one. Otherwise, its a great program. A Hook is set for this one. A Hook is a Windows internal function that can forge a list of files on your hard drive, for example by manipulating the dir command. Ryo Well, I highly doubt that someone using the actual program wouldn´t know what´s its name, so, all of those playing "smartass" could spare us some time.
