What is NetTaskTray |
NetTaskTray is the name of the tool, which you see in the taskbar next to the clock after the launch of Network Security Task Manager. |
|
NetTaskTray is responsible for:
NetTaskTray triggers the scheduled verification process on the workstations. The management console does not need to be running in order to regularly and automatically scan computers. |
NetTaskTray displays a small pop-up when a workstation flags a potentially dangerous process. The workstation does not therefore directly contact the management console. NetTaskTray takes charge of the warning message, examines the message and forwards it to the management console. So that NetTaskTray can receive the messages from the workstations (with the scheduling At the start of a process or After a client boots), file and printer sharing must be enabled on the computer, on which the management console is running. |
Note
| • | If the remote agent detects a potentially dangerous process on the workstation, the administrator will be warned in various ways. This ensures that even in the case of network problems, the warning will not be lost. |
